Fantastic Mr Fox

It is still school holidays and I am writing my second book review.

One interesting thing about the book:
I thought Mr Fox was going to die from hunger but he dug his way into the chicken house and prepared a feast for all the other animals.

My opinion about this story:
I think this book is very interesting. There are some difficult words like "souvenir" and "extraordinary" but I could sound them out. There were some scary parts like when the big woman walked in and the foxes and the badger had to hide. I would recommend this book because it is funny and bit scary so that makes it a bit exciting to read.

Main characters:
Mr Fox, Mrs Fox and the small foxes. The three mean farmers.

Plot:
Mr Fox has been getting food from the farmers to live and the farmers make a plan to shoot him. They shoot his tail but miss the fox and so they decide to dig him out with shovels. That also didn't work. So, they use mechanical shovels to dig him out. Mr Fox is too quick for the three farmers and tires them out.

My favourite part:
This was when Mr Fox and his four children had to dig for the food so they wouldn't die. That's when Mr Fox came up with the idea of having a feast.
